I have the honour to forward copy
of an application from Mr. J. Pestonjee, Third Clerk in the
Treasury, for an increase of salary together with a cover-
-ing minute from the Colonial Treasurer.
2.
This Officer joined the Treasury
as 6th. Clerk on 1st. February, 1894, was promoted to the
position of 5th. Clerk on 1st. April, 1896, and to his
present post at the beginning of the year 1907.
3.
In view of the responsible nature
of Mr. Pestonjee's present and prospective duties, I have to
request your sanction for his being placed in the higher
grade as from lat. January, 1912.
